# How it works

The contract is deployed with a custom name, symbol, decimals value, cap, and initial supply. Addresses with the minter role can create additional tokens as long as the total supply remains below the cap. Minting can later be permanently shut off by the owner. The token also supports burning, so supply can decrease as well as increase while minting remains active. Beyond supply management, the token supports ERC-1363-style behavior, including flows where newly minted tokens can be delivered to a compatible contract and immediately trigger contract logic.
