It combines three important ideas: transferable balances like a standard ERC-20, expandable supply controlled by the owner, and direct interaction with compatible smart contracts. For end users, this means the token can be used both as a tradable asset and as an active building block inside on-chain products.

# When to use it

This model fits projects that expect the token to be used inside applications such as staking platforms, membership systems, token-gated products, gaming mechanics, or purchase flows where a transfer should immediately trigger another action. It is also useful when the issuer wants the option to create more tokens later and eventually lock the supply by ending minting.

# How it works

The contract is deployed with a custom name, symbol, decimals value, and initial supply. That initial supply is minted at deployment, but the supply is not necessarily final because the owner can mint additional tokens later. The token also supports burning, so supply can move in both directions while minting remains enabled. On top of the usual ERC-20 transfer and approval behavior, the contract supports ERC-1363-style interactions, which means a compatible smart contract can react immediately when it receives tokens or an approval.
